Levi x Reader: Protection part 1

Let me introduce myself.
I am [First Name] [Last Name].
I've learned to love video games since I played my first video game (Insert video game) at the age of seven. And luckily, my dad was the manager of the best company from this domain.
Now, I sit in my room, in my comfortable armchair. Again, my dad has brought me a video game which his company has recently developed. This one is rather interesting-you are teleported in an imaginary world which the game chooses. Well, you’re not really teleported. Your body still remains in this world, but it’s like you’re unconscious, and you come back after you finish your mission. Pretty cool, yeah?
However, before playing it, you have to sign some papers, and say that if anything happens to you, you won’t blame the company. I’ve played the game a few times- it sent me in Alice Madness Returns (later, I learned that it was a video game too), D Gray Man, Kuroshitsuji and Hellsing. The last one was the most reckless of the all, but it was worth it.
And now I was toying with the console, thinking about in what world I would be sent. The world was always new, but after the second time I played this game, I observed that my character was always the same-it was basically me in anime version, but always dressed with a long, black coat, black leather pants, a tight, black top, and a pair of black boots, and as a weapon, it had a huge cannon-gun-thing (I have never seen something like that; it looked really strange) which was taller than her with about 3 inches.
I turned on the console. The screen was bright gray, but as soon as I touched it with my pointer, black surrounded me from all directions.
After a few seconds, the blackness disappeared, letting me see the gray-steel room in which I received the mission.
This time, I could hear some kind of melody in the background (www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5MNFQ…) as the robot-like voice spoke to me:
“You have to find, protect, and save this man. The world he lives in is by far the most dangerous you’ll be in.”
A photo appeared in my hand. There I saw a man with ebony black hair, which was cut like he has put a bowl on his head and cut everything which was not under the bowl. He looked very serious, and I could see dark circles under his eyes. Still, he was handsome.
“What’s his name?”
“I can’t tell you that. You’ll have to find out by yourself. All I can say is that he is very powerful, but he needs your help.”
I tilted my head to one side. I’m going to go in a very dangerous world, searching for a man whose name I don’t know. I may not accomplish my mission. Darn, this is so cool!
“Ready?”
I nodded.
A vortex formed around me and in a few seconds, it practically spit me on the ground. Note to self: next time, tell the game to be gentler.
I slowly opened my eyes, only to see that I was lying on the grass, in a forest. Tall trees surrounded me; the sun was shining brightly and the birds were singing. Nothing seemed dangerous until now.
I got up and yawned. Man, I’m starting to be sleepy in such an atmosphere…
Then, just like this, the birds ceased their singing. Well, maybe some kind of animal scared them. But as long as I had my weapon with me, nothing could scare me.
I could hear loud thumps in the distance, just like a huge heart was coming towards me. As the sound came closer and closer, I realized that it wasn’t a heart. In fact, there were footsteps.
Quickly, I jumped on a branch from a nearby tree, then I climbed until I reached the top. My mouth hung open at the sight.
A group of giants, maybe six or seven, were coming towards me. They were still far away, but I have already prepared my weapon.
“Come to mommy!”
